I think a gym and pool would be great for this hotel also A children's area.. The staff at the hotel are fantastic so friendly and helpful especially Owen this is why I stay here when I'm in Kildare

Myself & my husband arrived from the States and stayed one night here to surprise my sister-in-law who was having her party at The Courtyard Hotel. We were immediately welcomed and accommodated by fantastic staff who promptly arranged to have a couple of drinks sent to our room. Our room (on the 3rd floor) was beautiful with it's own balcony overlooking the grounds & the river. We were also pleasantly surprised to find welcome wines & muffins in the room. The standard of cleanliness was exceptional, on the balcony, in the large split level bedroom & the bathroom. They even supplied terry toweling robes/slippers. We ordered room service and it was cooked/served beautifully and still hot/cold where needed !! We peeked in at the restaurant and it is bright, airy & well presented. The courtyard is a fantastic place to sit & relax, chat or watch the large outside tv screen (the Eurovision was on the night we stayed and the atmosphere was fantastic). Also there is a beautiful waterfall feature which can be mesmerising. We'd highly recommend The Courtyard Hotel for a stay over or to have an event in - they all bend over backwards to make sure everyone/thing is to your liking

This is the second time I have used the hotel in relation to a "Christmas Party"and it is always something to look forward to. Very comfortable .
